Every ONE OF ONE cup goes through hands, flame and patience. Here is a look at how it is made.
1. Preparing the surface
The titanium cup body is cleaned thoroughly. Oils from fingerprints or dust can block the oxide from growing evenly, so the surface must be spotless before any heat is applied.
2. Applying the flame
The maker holds the cup and moves a torch across its surface. Within seconds, the metal starts to shift color: pale gold, then amber, then purple and blue. The maker watches constantly, turning the cup and changing the distance of the flame.
3. Deciding when to stop
This is the hardest part. A second too long and a planned blue becomes a pale sky tone; too short and the gold never deepens. There is no undo. The color recorded at that moment is the final color.
4. Cooling and inspection
The cup cools naturally. Each piece is checked for even finish on the drinking rim and inside surfaces, then fitted with its titanium filter and magnetic tea lid.
5. Why we don't standardize
Factories can create uniform colors with electrical anodizing. We choose flame because it leaves gradients and small surprises that make each cup personal. Your cup is not a copy of a sample; it is the only one of its kind.
